Ramelton Harbour, Donegal

Rising in the Derryveagh Mountains, the Leenan River meets the Atlantic Ocean at the picturesque village of Ramelton. This shot was taken on a perfectly still evening in late September. The village was bathed in golden light and the calm harbour waters were reflecting the village's old stone-built warehouses, accentuating the beauty of the scene. I used a telephoto lens to compose this shot of the boats and buildings.
