Mont Blanc Reflection, French Alps

The Mont Blanc massif has a magnetic quality that draws me back time and again. The Lac des Cheserys acts as a showcase for all the most famous peaks in the range; the Chamonix Aiguilles stretch across the centre of this composition, while the snowy dome of Mont Blanc lies on the right. I took this shot in June, when the wild flowers - including the Alpine Rhododendron or alpenrose - are at their best.
