Errigal Bog Pool, Donegal
Returning from a walk in Glenveagh National Park, I stumbled upon a small group of bog pools. Their unusual shapes were accentuated by reflections of the evening clouds, while the southeast shoulder of Errigal provided an interesting skyline across the valley. I used a 24mm lens and crouched close to the water to emphasise the pool in the composition. A neutral density graduated filter helped to hold back the brightness of the sky.
