The Devil's Garden, Utah, USA

The desert landscape of Utah holds a fantastic array of natural rock sculptures. Soft sandstone geology combines with harsh weather patterns to produce some incredibly intricate formations. The rock fins of the Devil's Garden in Arches National Park are towering stumps of rock that have been rounded by the powerful forces of erosion. Caught in last light of the day, the fins are set afire with a glow of almost demonic intensity.
